This is my favorite weird Al song...WHITE AND NERDY.
Yesterday was the annual Blandford Fair Fiddle Contest. I won 5th place and I got my first trophy. My dad accompanied me on the guitar. The songs we played were, River John's Sunset Waltz, Irishman's Heart to the Ladies and Turkey in the Straw. The first song is a waltz, the second song is a jig and the last song is a hoedown.
I was hoping to get a trophy this year. I didn't care what place it was as long as I did better than I did last year. And I did! My dad said that he would be proud even if I didn't get a trophy. And when I got one I was like ha,!
Last week for our family vacation we went to Cape Cod. We went on a ferry boat to go to Martha's Vineyard. This is a boat that we saw on the way to the island. Once at the island we shopped, ate, and road bikes across the island to Edgartown, and back (they have rrrreeeaaalllyyy good ice cream).
We celebrated Izzy's 11th birthday with our family at Yiayia and Papo's house on the Cape!
